Anonymous asked: Random question, but does breastfeeding hurt at all? I tried it for a while and found it fairly painful even though my baby had a good latch. Was it like that for you at the beginning? If so how long did it take for the pain to go away if it ever did? If you don't want to answer you don't have to. I'm just wondering if I may have given up too soon
For me is hurt extremely bad at first! I was so close to giving up on it. But after I would say a week my nipples got used to it. And we are going 5 weeks strong today. It still hurts the second he latches on but it’s just instant and goes away. Breastfeeding isn’t for everyone so I wouldn’t say you gave up to early if that’s what you wanted. But if in the future you decide to try again it does get so much better. You just have to get through that week if possible.

Sometimes I worry that I’m just not cut out to be a mom. Everyone else seems so natural at it. But about once a week I go through this phase where I just can’t handle things anymore. I just feel so uncomfortable. I don’t know how to handle it anymore…
awanderingtourist asked: Trust me, you aren't alone when it comes to thinking you're not cut out to be a mom. Being pregnant I still have those doubts. You're a wonderful mom and when things get rough just remember the way that your son smiles or the way he peacefully sleeps. It's all worth it and you're doing a fine job. I don't know a woman who's ever said motherhood was easy. Keep your head up :)
Thank you! ❤️
Sometimes I just need a reminder..
